May 16, 2009 Dear Scott Haug Foundation Members and Friends, Join us this September 17th – 20th as we celebrate a land mark event: The 25th annual Scott Haug Retreat. The Scott Haug Retreat is the longest running educational and fellowship retreat in Texas for audiologists and hearing instrument specialists. In fact, the Scott Haug Foundation and Retreat is 4 years older than the American Academy of Audiology – truly something to be proud of. With our amazing attendees and impressive past slate of speakers, it is no wonder we have been around for so long and continue to go strong. This year we have an impressive line-up of renowned speakers presenting on timely and relevant topics that you won’t want to miss:
As you know, a Scott Haug Retreat would not be complete without a theme, and this year is no different. After much contemplation and deliberation, it was decided that our theme for this year would be “Going Haug Wild in ‘09”. So, get your motors running and head out on the highway to the T Bar M Ranch and Resort in New Braunfels, Texas. Feel free to bring your leather and your choppers, but please don’t forget your hearing protection! Also, get ready for fellowship at our Thursday night wine and cheese event that is graciously provided by our corporate sponsors and fun at our hospitality villa (CASA). You can spend Friday afternoon either playing golf, tubing, shopping, or relaxing in beautiful Gruene, Texas. And Friday night at our famous theme dance! If you have never been to the Scott Haug Hill Country Audiology Retreat, it is time to see what everyone has been talking about. If it has been a few years since you have joined the gang, it’s time to come home again. Rooms go fast, so make sure to reserve your room soon! If you make your reservation before August 21st, you will receive the special room rate of $90 per night, but remember to tell them you are attending the Scott Haug Retreat. For more information on registration and resort information, go to www.scotthaug.org. We’ll be waiting!
See you in September!
