John S. Anderson Jr. "Jack" BLUFFDALE - A beloved sweetheart, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle returned home to be reunited with his earthly and heavenly mother and father. John S. Anderson Jr. ("Jack"), a friend to everyone, drowned in a canoeing accident surrounded by his professional friends while in Texas October 8, 2004.

Born Sept. 7, 1945 in Charleston, South Carolina to John Silcox and Martha Roe Anderson. In 1989 out of his great love of hearing impaired children and education he joined Audio Enhancement and became a vital part in growing a world renowned company. Jack enjoyed the opportunities to travel and make friends nationwide. The deaf community embraced Jack for his unconditional love. Jack served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Jack was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he loved and served his Heavenly Father in many capacities. He was a true southern gentleman. Jack's most treasured times were spent with his loving wife, Claudia, and their children and grandchildren. There was never a substitute for Grandpa Jack. Jack strove to be known as the nicest man anyone would have known. Knowing that was more important than anything else. He will be forever missed.

Survived by wife, Claudia of Bluffdale; children, Andy Anderson and Claudia Anderson of Deerfield Beach, Florida, Jeffrey (Rachelle) Anderson of Riverton, Jennifer (Rulon) Crum of Bluff-dale, Jeremy (Stacy) Anderson of Highland, and Justin (Andrea) Anderson of Saratoga Springs; 16 grandchildren; sister, Hayes Forney of Charleston, SC; mother and father-in-law, Neils and Lois Parry of Bluff-dale; brothers and sister-in-law, Peggy (George) Milligan of Sandy, Randy (Cheryl) Parry, Scott Parry all of Bluffdale, Michael (Debbie) Parry of Prescot, AZ, and Halley Parry of Phoenix, AZ; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the Bluffdale 1stWard 14400 So. Redwood Rd. Where friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the church and Tuesday one hour prior to the services. Interment, Bluffdale Cemetery. Funeral directors, Broomhead Funeral Home
